Naturally, because we are a collection of diverse individual, each of us have
slightly different values and beliefs in regards to how we serve Christ. Yet,
certain commonly held key values and beliefs unify our efforts.
- Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God. He died for our sins and rose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
- The Bible is the inspired word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)
- Every person has worth as God's creation. Yet each one has sinned and fallen short of God's standards. (Romans 3:23)
- Forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to all who trust Jesus as their Savior. (John 3:16)
- Accepting Christ means believing that Jesus is God's Son, repenting of sin, confessing your faith, being Batized into Him, and committing to walk with Him the rest of your life. (Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9)
- The church is Christ's body on earth, empowered by God's Spirit to share the gospel and to encourage believers. (Ephesians 4:1-16)
