Impact Christian Fellowship at the University at Albany is a ministry of Impact Ministries International a Non-denominational Para-church organization who's primary focus and area of ministry is planting campus ministries throughout the Unites States and Internationally in Europe and
Asia particularly on campuses in unreached and under-reached areas.
Using the tools of prayer and God’s Word to determine both where and how He wants us doing ministry several years ago, God initiated the idea of leading Prayer Journeys and Prayer Gatherings in places where not much was happening spiritually.
Our philosophy of ministry where “we will not minister where we have not prayed.” employs Prayer Journeys and Gatherings as a first step into a country or onto a campus.
Through prayer and God's leading, Impact planted its first campus ministry in the fall of 1995 in
Albany,
New York. Impact now has ministries on 10 campuses in the
United States
and 16 staff members.
