Impact Christian Fellowship is a Parachurch organization.

Parachurch organizations are vehicles by which Christians work collaboratively both outside of and across their denominations to engage with the world in social welfare and evangelism.  While ParaChurch Organizations/Ministries are vital to accomplishing specific missions on behalf of the church such as campus ministry, it should never take the place of the local church. Impact Christian Fellowship as a ParaChurch partnership is beneficial and a great means of personal growth and effective ministry for college students but it cannot supersede the need to be connected to the local body of Christ both while a student and as Alumni in the work world.

 

Thus Impact encourages each student to benefit from the unique and targeted offerings its ministry as well as encourages them to be part of the larger body of Christ through participating in local churches.

To do this Impact offers two tools.

1. During the Fall Semester Impact organizes a church tour.  We attend 7 different churches in the first 7 weeks with a hope to expose students to churches that they may be familiar in the hopes that they get plugged in and some that they are not familiar in hopes to stress our similarities, bring unity, and answer questions about church backgrounds that are different.      2.   With this site you can search a list of churches that strongly support campus ministry in the area and/or students attend and recommend.
